Josh Anderson, a native of Topsfield, Massachusetts, now residing in San Diego, California, joins the X-Speed squad after racing with Massachusetts-based teams CCB and Above & Beyond Cancer Cycling p/b Bike World. In the summer of 2024, Josh made the jump to the European racing circuit, competing in 14 kermesses in Belgium and securing two 2nd-place and one 3rd-place finishes. His highlight of the year, however, was the Tour de Beauce in Canada, where he raced for Olinka Cycling Team and finished 10th on stage two.
Josh’s path to cycling began during his college years at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Political Science. A standout in rowing, he was crowned National Champion and reached the semifinals at the 2022 Prince Albert Cup in the Henley Royal Regatta. Standing at 6’3″ and fueled by the muscle mass and power developed from rowing, Josh’s physicality makes him a strong contender in criteriums and kermesses.
X-Speed United/Atom6 is excited to see what Josh will bring to the table in 2025 as we dive deep into the heart of the Belgian racing scene. With his raw strength and speed, we’re confident Josh will thrive alongside his teammates on Belgium’s fast, flat, and notoriously bumpy cobblestones—setting the stage for some thrilling performances.
Welcome aboard Josh!
