Henrique’s story spans continents. Born in Brazil and raised in Canada from the age of two, his international background has made him fluent in English, Portuguese, and French. Henrique has been racing for nine years, and we first crossed paths at the 2024 Tour de Beauce, where he competed with the Quebec regional team. Set to turn 20 in January 2025, Henrique has already shown remarkable dedication. Over the past two seasons, he raced with Espoirs Quilicot and sharpened his skills on the track, putting in serious effort at the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont, focusing on the omnium and keirin disciplines.
Henrique’s move to X-Speed United marks an exciting new chapter, but it’s not his first European adventure. In July 2024, he tested himself on the Belgian kermesse scene, proving his punchy, aggressive style. Known for his dedication, he once clocked a massive 26-hour training week and keeps fueled with his favorite ride snack, Nature’s Bakery Blueberry Fig Bar. With his track experience and kermesse grit, Henrique is set to expand on his natural abilities in his 2025 European campaign.

With over two decades of involvement in Spain’s vibrant sports scene, Douglas has become a dedicated sports coach and manager. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, he now calls Madrid home, where his interest in sports business, marketing, and sponsorship activation has thrived. In 2021, he earned an MBA from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, dedicating his thesis to the creation and management of a professional cycling team.
